About the Project

Photo Booth International (PBI) is the market leader for high-quality photo booths in the US. Not only are they selling a various number of photo booths, but they are also helping individuals start their own photo booth rental business and generate 5 figures of income per month.

Challenge

The Ads account was already advanced and set up with different campaign types serving the products and services in the respective marketing funnels and had already been running for a few years. Advanced conversion tracking was already set up with precise attribution modelling. The business owner and marketing team had deep knowledge of digital marketing strategies across diverse advertising platforms. Yet the overall Google Ads performance had not reached the desired profitability of the company. So the main goal was set to:
1. increase the leads for prospects who want to start a photo booth business.
2. increase the sales of photo booths.
3. increase the overall Return On Ad Spend (ROAS) to 10, which means for us an increase of nearly 30%.

Solution

Following the account audit, we first discussed a few website optimisations with the client. Landing pages were optimized accordingly to enhance user experience and general SEO performance for higher ad relevancy and ad rank.

New campaigns
To increase the sales of certain products we set up a new PMax campaign for only chosen products with new assets, new ad copy and audience lists.

For the business prospects, a clear ad group structure for the various offered services with new recherched relevant keywords and more appealing ad copy and ad extensions should make the campaign more efficient. Search terms and keyword performance were regularly analysed and improved.

Result

After testing different variations of ad copy and audience lists and 2 months of optimizing, we could increase the sales of photo booths by 131K. The leads from the new search campaign for new inquiries for business prospects increased to 26 leads per month. The cost for the new campaigns increased by 15%.
